When you’re having sex, you might feel like a total loser, and you’re probably wondering what’s so attractive about your partner.
If you want to know, what is the most beautiful woman in the world?
We asked the experts and we’re glad you asked.
The experts who answered the poll include model, actress and singer Miranda Kerr, former NFL quarterback Chris Weinke and TV personality and comedian Sarah Silverman.
But before we dive into the results, let’s take a look at the poll question and how it’s interpreted.
What is the Most Beautiful Woman in the World?
The poll was taken between July 7 and July 20, 2017, and included 2,543 people from across the world who were asked, “What is the top woman you admire in the fashion world?”
Of the 2,535 respondents, 785 said “beautiful.”
Of those, 728 said they liked beautiful women who were beautiful.
That makes up for less than 0.1% of the 2.5 million people who answered.
What was the most interesting and surprising response?
For the most part, the most fascinating and surprising responses came from men.
While 6 out of 7 men agreed that beautiful women are attractive, women of all ages and race groups were more likely to agree with this statement.
A majority of black women (57%) said that beauty is attractive while a majority of Hispanic women (53%) agreed.
A plurality of white women (42%) agreed with this belief, while a plurality of Asian-American women (40%) and a majority (57 percent) of Asian men (37%) agreed, as did a majority in all age groups.
When it comes to the opinions of men, a plurality (42 percent) agreed with the statement that beauty was beautiful, while more than one-third of white men (34 percent) disagreed with this claim.
When you take into account how men and women generally interpret beauty, the poll found that a plurality thought that beautiful and intelligent women were attractive, while one-quarter (24 percent) thought women of different races were beautiful and the other third (24%) thought women with complex personalities were beautiful, as opposed to the majority of men who thought they were beautiful only.
Did you notice any other common themes?
One common theme that emerged from the poll was the importance of gender in the way people think about beauty.
When women are being considered for the most coveted jobs, like modeling, acting or the entertainment industry, they’re often judged on how they look.
When that happens, the majority (62 percent) think that men should be judged based on their looks, while only 38 percent think that women should be given the same consideration.
That’s according to the survey, which found that only 29 percent of women think they should be evaluated based on how good they are at the job, while 47 percent think women should get equal consideration.
